A graduate of Brunel University, he holds an MSc in Public Affairs and Lobbying. During this course he undertook placements at two public affairs agencies where he provided political and media monitoring, organised parliamentary events, and compiled research and briefing papers.
Prior to joining ICG, David gained extensive experience in healthcare. In his NHS role he prevented delayed discharges, so-called ‘bed blocking’, through establishing effective relationships with patients, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and statutory and private care providers. David has also worked in patient advocacy, and contributed to Department of Health-funded policy reviews.
